About the Founders

TRADEBRANDS was founded by its Chairman, Christopher Findlay along with the help of four other Directors; Christopher’s Wife, Sandra Findlay and their three Daughters; Danielle, Oriana and Crystal.

Christoper’s son-in-law and TradeBrands Operations Director; Ramah Al Jurdy, has also been a crucial figure in the founding of TRADEBRANDS.

Christopher Findlay (Founder and Chairman)

Christopher Findlay has over 30 years in automotive experience, starting his career at AutoWorld Zambia and serving as a director for 28 years. In 2005, Christopher and his wife, Sandra Findlay, founded Sandy’s Creations Resort, one of Zambia’s largest resorts which includes a hotel, apartments, several conference centres, restaurants and a garden centre. In 2020, amidst reflection during the coronavirus pandemic, Christopher thought up the idea of TRADEBRANDS, an amalgamation of his knowledge of consumer goods and entrepreneurial experience. Christopher looks forward to his next great venture that is TRADEBRANDS.

Ramah Al Jurdy (Operations Director)

Ramah Al Jurdy has been a key member of Sandy’s Creations Resort for over three years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, over 3 years experience in retail and sales, and over 9 years in the hospitality sector abroad. Not only is his knowledge in business and hospitality invaluable, but the combination of these disciplines most crucially puts him a position to understand the importance of customer service in business. Spending years shadowing chairman, Christopher Findlay, Ramah has a broad knowledge of automotive products, spare parts, pumps, machinery and more.
